Ai Ai Delas Alas and Daryl Yap declared as persona non grata in Quezon City
During the campaign period, director Daryl Yap and comedian Ai Ai Delas Alas collaborated for a 'parody' campaign video entitled 'Mayora for Mike Defensor'. On the said video, Delas Alas played a character named Ligaya Delmonte which portrays the current and elected mayor of Quezon City, Mayor Joy Belmonte. The video also shows the official triangular seal of the city at the background with the names 'BBM and Sara' on the side. The video sparked laughter from the supporters of Yap and trended upon its publication on April 29.

National Museum chosen as venue for Marcos Jr. inauguration
About 27 days from now, newly-elected President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. will take his oath of office at the historic National Museum of the Philippines as the 17th president of the country.
In a statement by the incoming Presidential Management Staff chief Zenaida Angping, she mentioned that inspections were already conducted by the inaugural committee and they found the museum a suitable venue for the inauguration, in addition, continuous preparations are underway to be fully ready by June 30.

Journalist Karen Davila and Marcos Jr. elder sister Senator Imee Marcos trend online after a clip of exchange of greetings during an interview went viral on social media.
On her show ANC Headstart, Davila opened the program by welcoming and congratulating the Senator on which she responded, "It's nice to see you're still here in the Philippines.
