ALS Ice Bucket Challenge co-founder Patrick Quinn dies at 37
Patrick Quinn, a co-founder of the social media ALS ice bucket challenge, which has raised more than $200 million worldwide for Lou Gehrig’s disease research, died yesterday, November 23 at the age of 37, according to the ALS Association’s Facebook post.
“We are deeply sorry to share that Pat Quinn passed away today. Pat was co-founder of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and an inspiration to millions of people around the world.” The association said on their statement. "Pat fought ALS with positivity and bravery and inspired all around him."
