Director Bong Joon Ho makes history for as Parasite is named Best Foreign Language Film” at this year's Golden Globe.
This makes Parasite as the very first Korean film to bag the award, along with the nominated films Spain’s Pain and Glory, US’ The Farewell, and France’s Les Miserables and Portrait of a Lady on Fire.

Parasite hit an impactful success from local to international audiences and critics, being the highest-grossing film of Director Bong’s career, hence being tagged as the best film of 2019.

In his acceptance speech, Bong Joon Ho gave his remarkable words.
“Once you overcome the one-inch tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films.”
Parasite is about an all unemployed family who take advantage in the wealthy and glamorous life of the naïve family of Park, as they suck up themselves into their lives and get involved in a very unexpected.
