Will Metro Manila be placed under Alert Level 2?
Metro Manila which is currently on Alert Level 1 status since March might be placed under Level 2 according to the Department of Health. Cases of the Covid-19 continue to increase in number day by day which escalates the possibility of Alert Level 2. About 308 cases were added on the list on Sunday, June 12.

Ai Ai Delas Alas and Daryl Yap declared as persona non grata in Quezon City
During the campaign period, director Daryl Yap and comedian Ai Ai Delas Alas collaborated for a 'parody' campaign video entitled 'Mayora for Mike Defensor'. On the said video, Delas Alas played a character named Ligaya Delmonte which portrays the current and elected mayor of Quezon City, Mayor Joy Belmonte. National Museum chosen as venue for Marcos Jr. inauguration
About 27 days from now, newly-elected President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. will take his oath of office at the historic National Museum of the Philippines as the 17th president of the country.
