Philippines Election, A Lesson Not Learned
The main character in the 2022 Philippine elections is not the victor but the voter. A citizen’s right to vote is his, but the weight of everyone affected by that one vote should be added to conscience.
We must unlearn the lie that nothing changes whoever wins the elections, and that it is up to us individually to help ourselves. If that is the case, then why must we elect these candidates? What is their use?
Speaking of use, for what else do we enjoy the democracy we have now, courtesy of our countrymen who 36 years ago...

Confession of a Pro-Lacson turns Pro-Robredo
I was once not a supporter of Leni Rebredo.
A person who has a stubborn disposition in which do not believe in any social media algorithms, majority’s choice and clout chasing. Unlike with others, I did not experience the love at first sight for Leni as the next president of the Philippines.
Why? Strategically looking at the possibility of World War III, I once thought of “Will she be able to lead the nation once WW3 occurred? Will our country increase in terms of economic status?” but then, few days before May 9, 2022 my mind changed.

Don’t be a fool in April Fools’
Jokes on you!
Now that we’re celebrating the most comic day of the year, April Fools’, expect to see tons of pranks, jokes, and amusements spread across the entire social media platform.
It’s no news that Filipinos love to fool around, especially to have at least some sort of a breather in this tiring world. We love teasing, new-found jokes and engaging contents yet we don’t want to be at the receiving end of the line.
Yes, we don’t want to be fools.
But how does the line between not wanting to be fooled and believing in the plethora of...
