Baguio, kinilala bilang ‘Model City’ sa Pakikipaglaban kontra COVID-19
Matapos ang dalawang buwan ng enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), sumailalim na nga ang Baguio City sa general community quarantine (GCQ) na kung saan pinayagan na muling magbukas ang ilang mga serbisyo sa lungsod ngunit bago pa man ito, naging usap-usapan ang naging mahusay na pamamaraan at pamamalakad ng siyudad na ito.
Sa buong Pilipinas, Baguio City na nga siguro ang pinakadisiplinadong lugar sa pagharap sa krisis ng COVID-19. Ilan sa mga nakabibilib na aksyong ginawa ng lungsod ay gumawa ng ingay sa social media at maging ilan nga ay nag viral pa.

Depression, Mood Disorder on the rise during the pandemic
“Mood disorder, as prime characteristic of depression, is on the rise. Many people feel sad and slowly lose interest in life because of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) caused by COVID-19 pandemic,” said Dr. Roland Cortez, chief of the National Center for Mental Health during a Zoom press conference recently, with Philippine Star.
According to Philippine Star’s report, every day, Cortez said, about 200 people call the 24-hour hotline numbers (0917-898-8727 and 989-8727) of the hospital ever since the ECQ took effect in Luzon last month.
