Today, as we celebrate ‘World Stress Awareness Day’, here are some tips on how to make your working-at-home experience a stress-free one.

MAKE A LIST FIRST THING IN THE MORNING

Working from home might not look hard but in reality, it’s draining given the limited resources and lack of motivation as we felt vulnerability and isolation.

One of the best things to get through with the day is to write down a to-do list before starting your grind and tick them off as if you’re accomplishing your daily, well, you know there is no better stress reliever than a fully completed to-do list.

DON’T OVERWORK YOURSELF

Respect your time. Know when to stop yourself from doing your tasks especially when you finished your shift for the day. Working from home doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to accomplish all your loads in just a snap ‘cause you have a lot of free time.

Emphasize boundaries between work and life at home to avoid stressing up yourself. Do not forget to take breaks and even spend a little time with your family. Always remember you’re at home after all!

TAKE A BREAK

Yes, you can take your VLs even if you’re at home. You have to charge up and divert your focus on other things even in just a little while. When you have a holiday or break, make sure it is a holiday and you disconnect.

MAKE TIME FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION:

To lessen loneliness, make it a habit to make virtual interaction with your go-to pals, you can have it on weekends and spend time productively. Do something that can boost your energy to continue what you’re up to despite the odds and adversaries that try to take away your sanity. You are not alone pal!

DON’T PRESSURE YOURSELF

Don’t be so hard on yourself. You don’t need to be productive as you are in the office as long as you successfully accomplished all your tasks, you are still adapting work from home set-up so don’t put too many expectations and stress on yourself to be on the same level of performance and productivity. You can do it!

Go easy on yourself peeps, you don’t have to carry the weight of the world with you. Always take on the positive side of life as we all deal with uncertainty.

Hang in there wonderful humans!
