Why having houseplants makes you feel better?

According to studies, houseplants are good for our health. It’s a science-based fact that they do not just exist just for their visual beauty and aesthetics--they play a vital role in our lives, when we breathe, they release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide.

In a research conducted by NASA, it revealed that houseplants can remove up to 87 percent of air toxin in 24 hours, and some studies have also proven that indoor plants improve concentration and productivity (by up to 15 percent!)

These wonderful creatures are not just only freshens up the air and eliminates harmful toxins—we’ve seen it as a new hobby and stress reliever of many this pandemic for the past months now.

The air inside our homes is worse than the air in the middle of a city, and it can be a major problem. But, thanks to houseplants, we can improve the quality of the air we breathe in the four corners of our house.

The airborne chemicals that plants release are tackling the pollutants in the air and instantly rectifying the balance according to the Ecowatch. So, in that case, we’re all left with air that is safer and healthier to breathe.

Also, other particular benefits of interior plants include reducing carbon dioxide levels, increasing humidity, reducing airborne dust levels, and keeping air temperatures down
