According to the Philippine vaccine tracker herdimmunity.ph, the Philippines has fully vaccinated at least 986,929 Filipinos, or 0.90% of the population. That means we are administering an average of 170,069 vaccinations daily.
At this rate, it will take about 2.2 years (Aug 2023) to fully vaccinate 70M Filipinos and achieve herd immunity.
As of May 25, the country has a supply of 8,279,050 vaccine doses, enough to fully vaccinate 3.76% of the population.
If the country wants to achieve herd immunity by December 2021, the government needs to administer 637,063 doses daily, or 3.7 times our current rate.
