Three weeks after Metro Manila has put under 'Enhanced Community Quarantine' or ECQ due to COVID-19 outbreak, it seems that this quarantine has a side effect to nature.
The Earth is ‘healing’ as what netizens have called it; Clear skies and cleaner air are taking the Metro right now and many are ecstatic about it!
We all know that you guys are inside in the comfort of your homes right now but try to take a peek and appreciate the beauty for a while.
Here are some of the snap shared by netizens who have taken on social media to spread some good news happening to our mother earth:
Metro Manila skyline has been also seen from the neighboring province of Bataan in the Municipality of Mariveles which has a distance of 54 kilometers from the national capital region.
GMA News Senior reporter and anchor Raffy Tima has also shared his snaps on Facebook with a dramatic sunset from the GMA Network building showing Mt. Samat and the Memorial cross of Mt. Samat Shrine in Bataan.
Truly, it’s a manifestation of a positive effect of this quarantine and here’ssScience to back it up.
On March 23, the DENR-NCR Facebook page posted an announcement regarding the gradual changes of the air quality in Metro Manila, the agency announced that the air in the Metro is improving.
This is a piece of good news from a huge crisis. This is a manifestation that we can do things like this not only during a pandemic outbreak of lending a day or a two for maybe a 'shut-down' annually in the near future.
Let's all stay at home to stop spreading the virus and pray for the world.
