Are you planning to gift yourself or someone a new phone this holiday season? We have a good news for you!

After the announcement of the much-awaited release of the new iPhone 12 series, the iPhone 11 series gets a massive price cut, so if you are planning to get an iPhone update, then now, more than ever, is the perfect time to purchase one, since iPhone 11 is still a new iPhone series.

The iPhone 11 now starts at P37,990, which is P10,000 cheaper compared to its original price when it was first released in 2019, according to the Apple Philippines online store. Also, the iPhone Xr is included in the price drop — and in case you are planning to purchase the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro Max models — Apple has halted distributing those models. BUT, the good news is ‘Beyond The Box’ still offers them with a P15,000 discount.

However, if you are eyeing to get cheaper yet still updated iPhone, Apple still offers the iPhone XR, and the good thing is the model also gets a huge price drop, from its launch price in 2018 at P50,990 to now only P31,990 according to Apple's Philippine website.

How often should we upgrade our phones?

There are actually things to consider for you to finally say it’s time for a phone upgrade. Is the phone you are using already outdated; does your phone no longer run the latest version of the OS? Is your phone’s performance already declining; is your phone becoming less capable of running demanding games without dropping frames or the apps you are using oftentimes crash? Is your phone’s battery life becoming poorer? Is there a physical damage that halts your phone from its maximum utilization?

If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions above, then there’s no need for you to feel bad in spending money for a phone upgrade. Besides, holiday season only comes once every year, and it’s the season to gift ourselves from the money we worked hard for.
