Restaurant owners denounce viral TikTokers over condiment hoarding for 'prank'
Two TikTok influencers have been criticized by members of the local restaurant community who call themselves Restaurant Owners of the Philippines (RestoPH) over their viral TikTok prank, which also receives backlash from the online users.
TikTok duo Chuck Aquino and Joe Abad filmed themselves for a TikTok content while repeatedly asking for additional servings of togarashi at the Japanese restaurant, which turns out they were hoarding the Japanese spice blend. "There were no missing funds”: PhilHealth chief says 94% of P15 billion ’stolen’ funds already liquidated
Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) chief Dante Gierran said on Tuesday, Feb. 2 that 94 percent of the missing and ‘stolen’ P15 billion has already been liquidated.
According to Gierran during a House hearing, P14.09 billion that was released to health care institutions (HCIs) under the Interim Reimbursement Mechanism (IRM) has been liquidated as of Feb. 1.
“With respect to the IRM of almost P15 billion, I would say, there were no missing funds. Right now, these hospitals have already made liquidation of these advances we made consisting of 94%,” Gierran said in a statement.

92% of P15B 'stolen funds' liquidated, PhilHealth chief says
Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) chief Dante Gierran said on Tuesday, January 26, that the state health insurer has already liquidated 92% of P15 billion allegedly "stolen funds" that its former executives were accused of pocketing.
