With hundreds of songs about relationships and loved ones, Maroon Five’s frontman, Adam Levine, ironically got into an allegedly messy affair with an Instagram model, Sumner Stroh. In a now-viral TikTok video by Sumner, she exposed the direct messages shared between her and the singer. “At the time, I was young, I was naive … I was very easily manipulated,” the model explained how she got into a year-long “relationship” with the artist while showing the seemingly flirty conversation sent by the artist.

As narrated by Sumner, after they stopped talking, Adam tried to make his way into her life again by shooting her a DM saying he wanted to name his new baby after the Instagram model.  Furthermore, the model elaborated that she did not want to bring this issue to the public, but she recklessly sent some screenshots with her trusted friends wherein one threatened to sell them to tabloids. Thus, the model decided to come forward to prevent her friend and tabloids from profiting from this issue. 

Following her first TikTok, Sumner also clarified in her second video that she was under the impression that the singer was single and “keeping it quiet to avoid issues” when they started talking. She also said that she was new to Los Angeles and was naive about how celebrities handle their issues. Though she admitted that she wasn’t familiar with the loop around LA, she also stated that “being naive is not an excuse for what I did and the role I play in this.” 

Apart from Sumner, two more women claimed that they also allegedly had an affair with the “Payphone” singer. 

On September 20, Levine posted an Instagram story regarding the accusations. According to his post, he used poor judgment when talking with other girls except for his wife. He also said he did not have an affair but “crossed the line during a regrettable period.” The singer’s statement received backlash on Twitter and got dismissed by Netizens.
