Where To: Here are Top 5 Places in the Philippines to Breathe Away After Quarantine Period
By Jhoemz Vercide 17 Oct 2020 1226

Most of us right now want to escape; go to a place far away from what is happening in the city…away from the uncertainty of this pandemic.

For some, traveling is a way of life. A way to see things beyond life as we know it. It may be a means for some but a lifetime dream to many; but suddenly one day, an unexpected virus came, and all of our plans have halted and forced us to stay at home—goodbye travels!

To travel the world, as cliché as it may seem, it’s everyone’s greatest dream and no one can stop us from achieving it—even the virus!

Have you listed down all the places you want to visit this year and prepare your post-enhanced community quarantine travel itineraries?

Don’t worry, we got you covered, here are the top 5 places to unwind after this pandemic period:

BATANES PROVINCE

Batanes is everyone’s dream. Its enigmatic beauty has captured the hearts of the many.

Home to postcards-like sceneries, pristine beaches, and majestic views, this is what a paradise looks like. No words can really describe the place, just go and visit there and feel a strange feeling that only Batanes could give us.

As of now, let’s just wait for the ‘new normal’ rules from the provincial government if they will allow tourists to wander around the place.

In the meantime, you can go on virtual travel in Batanes, watch this vlog:

SAGADA, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE

Whenever I asked about what’s the best place to get lost, the first place that comes to my mind is Sagada.

I can’t think of a perfect place to ponder, reflect, and breathe but his magnificent in the north--a perfect epitome and combination of nature and people.

As a traveler at heart, the first time I landed my feet off of this place was really unforgettable, I just felt nothing but pure happiness—healing, I guess!

I left my heart in Sagada, just please promise yourself to visit Sagada someday not even after this quarantine period, and see the magic of this place.

SIARGAO ISLANDS

If you’re into beach and adventure, Siargao will never fail you. The place is worth every sight. I think people are this haven’s greatest gem--Friendly, accommodating, and mostly a giver.

After this quarantine period, you should reward yourself. Visit Siargao and experience a different kind of home away from the loud city.

PULAG (BENGUET)

Feeling lost? Here, in the peaks of Pulag, you can find the lost pieces of heart, yes! I am living proof of it.

Pulag has something special to offer, not just the place itself but its undefined and unexplainable feeling one could ever experience while on the path of this mountain.

I can say, to distress yourself from the weight of today’s baggage, here’s Pulag, it can be your home.

SAN JUAN, LA UNION

I don’t know but Elyu has a special kind of healing not just for broken hearts but it can fill our emptiness in life!

It is not the most beautiful place in the Philippines but surely a go-to spot every now and then of the many.

The beauty of this place is the people themselves. The hospitality and welcoming community of this haven is truly undeniable and this is what makes me assure you why people keep on coming back there.

Its proximity to the Metro is also one of the many reasons why we recommend this place to be included in your post enhanced community quarantine travel itinerary.

I know many of you are longing for the sound of the waves, footsteps on hiking, and stories of adventures, yes, we all do but even after the quarantine period, we’re all down to embrace ‘new normal’ so as we go on travel later, follow all the rules and regulations!

Hang in there and prepare your bags for the much-awaited adventure this year.
