Heads-up, movie geeks! Netflix has more Filipino indie movies available for streaming this coming June!

From Eerie, Dead Kids and other tagalog movies that are now available on the streaming giant. Netflix will be adding five more Filipino films this coming Independence Day for us, cinephiles.

Here are the five selected movies:

Pamilya Ordinaryo

Synopsis: Jane and Aries are teenage parents who make a living out of stealing on the streets... until fate hits back at them.

Pinoy Sunday

Synopsis: An abandoned couch turns Sunday routine into an adventure of perseverance and self-discovery for a pair of Filipino migrant workers in Taipei.

Sunod

Synopsis: Sunod is about Olivia, a single mother who is caring for her daughter, Annelle, who is in the hospital for a heart condition. As the hospital bills stack up, Olivia is forced to go job hunting to help pay for the bills and finds herself working at a call center in an old building.

Lola Igna

Synopsis: Lola Igna is a foul-mouthed and stubborn woman who is just waiting for her end-time but her neighbours are hung up on her winning the title "the oldest living grandmother in the world." Her long lost great-great-grandson, Tim, is an aspiring Vlogger who wants to latch on to her now-famous grandma but ends up giving her a new reason to live.

Untrue

Synopsis: Mara moves to the country of Georgia, where she meets a man named Joaquim. Not all is right in this romance, as secrets start to be uncovered, and their story becomes one tinged with lies and deceit.
