The Araneta stage is on fire in last night’s Binibining Pilipinas 2022 coronation!

As early as 4pm, supporters from different cities fill the vicinity of Smart Araneta Coliseum. Chanting their respective candidates while handling balloons, placards and other pageantry paraphernalia.

The stadium is not in full capacity but the extensive support of fans and crowd chants made the place seems like it’s on its own double seats capacity. After few moments of waiting due to technical difficulties, SB19 hits the stage by singing the Binibining Pilipinas theme song. In which each candidate introduced themselves as well.  And the opening program is completed by the stunning beauty introduction of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Binibing Pilipinas Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves.

Meanwhile, the set of judges are composed of honorable chairpersons and secretaries from both public and private organizations. The night went wild as Joshua Garcia and Jane De Leon joins the pool of judges.

It was followed by announcing the first set of special awards. And eventually, the 40 Binibinis was trimmed down to its Top 12 candidates. Maymay Entrada amazes the crowd by singing her viral song Amakabogera during the swimsuit competition.

After that, a special segment was given to newly appointed Binibining Pilipinas Inc. Executive Committee Precious Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz in receiving the Anvil Awards on behalf of the organization. And who wouldn’t forget the crowd’s favorite part of the event? Showcasing the evening gowns.

It was followed by intriguing set of Q and A and awarding of 2^nd set of special awards.

Pia Wurtzbach had her special recorded segment coaching the binibinis alongside with some veteran queens. And last but not the least, the night ended by crowing the new set of Binibinis.
