“#Jowable” director Darryl Yap once again gets roasted by the netizens after he posted a teaser of his new online series “The Cousins” or “Minsan sa Insan” for its sensitive content.

According to VinCentiments’ Facebook post, which is now deleted, The Cousins is a story about incest or people who are family or closely related having sexual relations.

Netizens claim that the topic is too sensitive to be used as an online series.

Previously, Darryl Yap was also slammed by the netizens after the release of his short film “AYUDAmn.” Whereas he allegedly stereotyped single parents.

“Single parent? Single parent, e, multiple ang kalandian niyan! Multiple benefits yan! May ka-chat pang AFAM.” A line from Yap’s AYUDAmn short film that triggered the social media users.

His online series “Sakristan” was not saved from negative criticisms as well as it discusses relationships between two men whom one happened to be a sacristan. This kind of story is indeed sensitive, especially to the conservative sector of the society.
