Seventeen Announces World Tour “BE THE SUN”
By Grace Alcantara 18 May 2022 826

I hope you listen to this because it’s all right just fine. The 13-member Kpop boy band Seventeen just announced their world tour entitled Be The Sun.

The Darling singers announced their comeback last May, followed by the release of their first ever English single as a group, Darling, in April. Their upcoming album Face The Sun is Seventeen’s first full length album in almost three years.

Seventeen is a 13-member boy group that debuted in 2015 under PLEDIS Entertainment. They are known for their hit songs “Aju Nice”, “Pretty U”, “Rock with you”, “Left and Right”, and “Home;run”

Before the announcement of their world tour, Seventeen already returned to performing in-person concerts with their sixth fan meeting at SEVENTEEN IN CARATLAND held in Korea, and in Japan which they’ve just come back from.

Seventeen will be opening their world tour first in their home country two nights in a row at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on June 25th and 26th. Then they’ll fly to North America at arenas in 12 different cities, and also Canada.

They will be performing on August 10 in Vancouver, August 12 in Seattle, August 14 in Oakland, August 17 in LA, August 20 in Houston, August 23 in Fort Worth, August 25 in Chicago, August 28 in Washington DC, August 30 in Atlanta, September 1 in Belmont Park, September 3 in Toronto, September 6 in Newark.

Although dates and venues have not been announced for the remainder of the tour, Carats, Seventeen’s fanbase, got excited with the announcement because PLEDIS Entertainment, their management, revealed that the group will also be going on an arena tour in Asia in 6 arena shows in Japan from November to December.

Their official world tour poster indicated “MORE TO COME” which means that they will be releasing more dates and venues aside from what they already announced. Let’s all get excited!
