SB19 surprised their fans with their announcement on Friday, May 7, that they will be releasing a new single entitled “Mapa” on May 16.
And on May 18, the P-pop group also posted their scheduled activities for this single, including a music showcase.
“Mapa” is the group’s follow-up track to their March comeback single “What?,” which has now garnered more than 9 million views since its release.
Days before the new song announcement, SB19 was included in the nominees for the Top Social Artist category for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
“We are so grateful for your love and support. We wouldn’t have come this far without all of you. A’TIN ‘TO,” the group wrote on their accounts on April 29.
SB19 is a five-member Filipino idol group composed of Josh, Pablo, Stell, Ken, and Justin. They released their first album Get in the Zone in July 2020.
