SURPRISED!!! Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli are now officially married!

The two tied the knot with a civil wedding ceremony in a private hotel in Taguig City on February 20, according to reports.

Geronimo and Guidicelli have announced their engagement in November 2019. Fans of Ashmatt, the couple’s nickname, rejoiced over the wonderful milestone of their idols.

Friends and fans expressed their happiness on the good news about the newly-weds, Mr. and Mrs. Guidicelli.

ABS-CBN Entertainment reporter MJ Felipe congratulated the couple.

 “Congratulations Mr and Mrs Matteo and Sarah Geronimo Guidicelli,” he said on Twitter.

In a fairytale story, there's always a struggle. Sarah's mother, Divine, is known to be strict when it comes to her daughter, there have been earlier reports that she didn't approve of her daughter's relationship with Matteo.

In a public letter to Sarah's parents after the engagement, Matteo said that he is “extremely excited to start my own family with the love of my life.” 

He assured that he will give Geronimo a happy life with the best of his capabilities.

“Mahal na mahal ko po si Sarah. Mahal ko din po kayong magulang niya at mga kapatid niya,” Guidicelli said at the time. “Hangad ko po na maging isang pamilya tayo. Pangako ko po na aalagan ko si Sarah na kapareho ng pangangalaga ninyo sa kanya.” Matteo said in a heartfelt message to Popstar royalty parents last November 2019.
