Grammy-award winner Sam Smith has finally noticed the viral video of a Filipino boy singing his 2017 heartbreak hit “Too Good At Goodbyes” in a karaoke set up inside a mall in the Philippines.
The talented boy has been identified as Carlmalone Montecido or also known as the “Blind Ballader of Bacolod.”
“WHO IS THIS KID!!!!!? YOU ARE OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE WHOEVER YOU ARE ❤,” Smith wrote Saturday on Twitter.

The singer reposted the video to his 8.1 million followers on twitter!
Also, American Idol season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson was amazed by Montecido’s talent and even retweeted smith’s tweet and saying that her team has seen the viral video.

The talented blind boy had joined some singing competitions in television including Pilipinas Got Talent’ and Tawag ng Tanghalan on It’s Showtime back in 2017 wherein he became one of the finalists.
The original video has already garnered 12 million views posted on Facebook last Wednesday, February 5, 2020, by the user Trixie Madison.
Carlmalone Montecido is currently preparing for the upcoming World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Anaheim, California on July 24.
