After announcing on Monday evening that Russia will now recognize Ukraine’s independence, Russian President Vlademir Putin ordered troops to disunion regions of eastern Ukraine.
According to CNBC, United States’ President Joe Biden described the Russian actions as the beginning of an invasion of Ukraine. In which the U.S. and United Kingdom on Tuesday announced the sanction of the two leading banks or financial institutions in Russia. This announcement was taken after the U.K. Health Minister Sajid David says, “the invasion of Ukraine has begun.”
The action taken by Putin led a pool of political analysts and historians to tackle about the rise of World War III. Based on Britannica, Ukraine was originally under Russian government when Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) is still up. And this is what Putin is primarily amplifying for the past year. Some analyst said that this Ukraine-Russia crisis might also trigger some mutiny and invasions. As the world is also aware of the tension between China and Taiwan.
Meanwhile, the dispute between Philippines and China in reclamation of West Philippine Sea is still on-going. The possibility of World War III will surely affect the reclamation process.
