The red and pink rivalry is back!
Last night in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference Finals Game One, Creamline Cool Smashers defeated Petro Gazz Angels in 4 big sets!
The ladies in pink delivered a dominating performance which only proves that they were not undefeated for nothing, snatching the first set with 25-16 and the third set with 25-12 while the angels of Petro Gazz persisted, scoring the second set with 23-25. In the fourth set, however, we were greeted with one of the longest sets in the conference with 32-30 in favor of Creamline.
The rivalry between Creamline and Petro Gazz started long before this year’s conference. They met as final contenders in both the Reinforced and Open Conference of the 2019 season.
Facing each other for the third time, both teams are motivated and full of vigor to win the championship. Creamline hopes to reclaim their throne after losing in the last conference to Chery Tiggo while Petro Gazz aims to turn this conference into the unexpected after shutting down Cignal in the semi-finals.
Don’t miss Game Two live at Ynares Center Antipolo this Friday, 6PM! Or catch them live on One Sports, One Sports+, Cignal Play and Giga Play. Fans can also stream the game over at KUMU and PVL.ph.
