Prepare your tissue, Taylor Swift and Adele will be dropping their new album this month!
Taylor Swift and Adele are officially dropping their highly anticipated album, ‘Red (Taylor’s Version), and 30, one week apart.
There’s nothing better than the release of new music to look forward to from your favorite artists – and November certainly isn’t letting us down with its album release calendar.
First up is Taylor’s ‘Red (Taylor’s Version) which is perfect for the approaching cold weather in the country. The Taylor’s Version of the LP will feature 30 tracks including the original, 10 minute version of the much-awaited, heartbreaking ballad, “All Too Well”. The track is every Swifty’s favorite among the other in the album, who are prepping ahead of its much-anticipated release on November 12.
It will also feature collaborations with Phoebe Bridgers, Chris Stapleton and Ed Sheeran, who are appearing on songs “from the Vault”.
Originally, Swift planned to release her second rerecorded album on November 19. “I’ve always said that the world is a different place for the heartbroken,” she wrote in her original statement. “It moves on a different axis, at a different speed. Time skips backwards and forwards fleetingly. The heartbroken might go through thousands of micro-emotions a day, trying to figure out how to get through it without picking up the phone to hear that old familiar voice. In the land of heartbreak, moments of strength, independence, and devil-may-care rebellion are intricately woven together with grief, paralyzing vulnerability and hopelessness. Imagining your future might always take you on a detour back to the past. And this is all to say, the next album I’ll be releasing is my version of Red.”
Taylor Swift is also performing as the musical guest on SNL next Saturday, November 13th.
Meanwhile, Adele’s 30, which is indeed one of the most anticipated albums in years after being on hiatus for almost six years.
The singer will release her fourth studio album on November 19, with lead single “Easy On Me” already having people in their feels, while breaking streaming records continuously.
In an Instagram post, the 32-year-old shared the "blistering truths" that will make the album what it is, as she underwent a divorce and had a son through its process.
"I was certainly nowhere near where I'd hoped to be when I first started it 3 years ago," the singer wrote. "Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have. And yet there I was knowingly -- willingly even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil!"
"And so, I'm ready to finally put this album out,” added Adele.
On the other hand, the two iconic artists’ fans couldn’t contain their feelings as they took to Twitter to share their excitement.
I hope everyone’s ready with their tissues because Adele and Taylor are going to emotionally destroy us this month.
