It seems like OPM is all set to conquer the international music scene!

Pinoy indie-folk pop band Ben&Ben is currently trending in South Korea as it tops one of its most popular music streaming sites and services called the Melon Charts.

The 9-piece band has left in awe after some Filipino fans shared screenshots of the band and their hit song “Leaves” making it to the real-time search chart of Melon.

According to KStreet Manila, the search terms “Ben&Ben”, “Leaves”, “ben and ben”, and “Ben&ben leaves” have occupied the #1, #2, #3, #6, and #7 spots respectively.

“I can't believe it. We're trending #1 in South Korea,” tweeted the band together with a screenshot of the Melon Realtime Search Chart.

On a Facebook post, the band also shared the good news, with the caption: “Woah this is crazy. we're trending in South Korea .”

The sudden interest for the band was started when K-pop stars such as Young K of DAY6 and NCT’s Mark Lee mentioned “Ben&Ben” on their V lives as assumed by Filipino fans.

The two were amazed by the beauty and message of the song and even thanked Filipinos for recommending it for them.

Ben&Ben was so ecstatic after hearing the good news from their supporters and shared the two live streams of the K-pop stars on Instagram.

“This week, a lot of great K-pop acts discovered our music. Here is Young K of @day6kilogram and Mark of @NCT127!” caption wrote. “Thank you for appreciating 'Leaves.' We will listen to your music too.”

This is really a stepping stone for all Pinoy acts to storm the international stage!

Way to go Ben&Ben. Is this a call for a collab? What do you think guys?
