According to Ben and Ben, the song is written and inspired from the double meaning of its title. The term is commonly used to refer “a gift” and could also mean “to meet”. Moira said that she loves how the poetry song simply means one of the scariest and riskiest word “Gusto kita”.
A song that will touch every generation’s heart and soul is just one of the things that Moira and the band kept in mind while writing it. As per Ben and Ben’s percussionist Andrew De Pano, overseeing the production side of the material is also a way of producing new millennial anthem. Heart whelming, conversational and authentic pop music for Filipinos.

Jason Marvin Hernandez, Moira’s husband also helped the team in adding some lines that completed the song’s pop-ballad style. The music video of the song also hit 1.9 million views as of August 4, 2021 and 1 million streams in Spotify.
