Enola Holmes is winning the hearts of the viewers, and we’re crazy about it.

Last night, The Sherlock Holmes spinoff Enola Holmes has premiered on Netflix soaring high with good reviews from the online world.

"Enola Holmes," an adaptation of the first installment of Nancy Springer's young adult book series, "The Enola Holmes Mysteries," it follows Sherlock Holmes' 16-year-old sister Enola (Millie Bobby Brown) mystery story through the English countryside and into the heart of Victorian-era London as she flees her brothers in search of her missing mother, Eudoria Holmes (Helena Bonham Carter).

As critics exclaimed then that the film might only create buzz before its premiere ‘cause it’s connected to the world-renowned Sherlock Holmes, one of the most heavily adapted literary characters in history. But, Brown (Enola Holmes) herself made sure that she established her own identity as the newest character to be fond with, and as a firm representation of a strong-willed woman and an inspiration to the generation of today.

She embodies independence, undeniable wit, and determined as she carried her character in the entire movie which many believed that she pulled off her stint.

The film charmed top film critics and writers, bringing in a 91 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer, with over 64 critics weighing in to approve of the newest teen detective.

Here are some reviews:

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the critical consensus is, "Enola Holmes brings a breath of fresh air to Baker Street -- and leaves plenty of room for Millie Bobby Brown to put her effervescent stamp on a franchise in waiting."

“On the surface, "Enola Holmes" is about a young woman in search of herself, but the film's value comes from a deeper investigation of power, familial bonds and the risks of changing a world determined to stay the same,” Lovia Gyarkye of The New York Times wrote.

Ann Hornaday of Washington Post said that "Enola Holmes" offers brisk and exuberant escape from the heaviness of modern times, with its leading actress lending her own appealing touches to the journey. When the game is afoot, she's more than capable, not just of keeping up, but winning the day.

“Enola Holmes puts a bright, lighthearted spin on detective work, and it gives its young star a chance to loosen up as well. Everybody is incredibly game for this material, letting it simply be the charming diversion it is,” said Emily Wheeler of the Film Inquiry

Ferdosa Abdi of Geeks of Color said that Enola Holmes is a very well-made, well-paced, and beautifully crafted family feature that has something for everyone to enjoy.

Okay, now we’re all curious, for those who haven’t seen yet the film, do yourself a favor and include this to your ‘binge-watch list’ this weekend and share with us your thoughts!
