"I'm sick and tired of these boomers treating mental issues like it's a mf joke."
Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre claps back at DZMM anchor Jobert Sucaldito (who is suspended since January by ABS-CBN after his suicide remarks towards the actress) as she questioned the anchor’s presence during the biggest local TV network’s franchise renewal hearing.
Sucaldito attended the House of Representatives’ hearing on ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal on Monday, June 29 to address his statement against the media giant for suspending him after telling Nadine to “jump off a building” during his radio program.
"'Di ba iyon naman ang gusto nila? Kuno-kuno na may mga labas ng puwet, naka T-back pa doon sa building, tapos may mga nakalagay na caption na parang gustong tumalon sa building,” The radio anchor exclaimed, referring to the photo of Nadine wearing a bikini on the balcony of a building.
“Sana tumalon na lang kung ganun din naman pala.” He added.
During the TV network’s hearing, Jobert again justified and defended his previous actions which lead to his suspension in his statement.
“But how about us? Papaano kami? Naisip niyo rin ba kami? Napaka-harsh ng inyong decision. Napaka-cruel ninyo,” Jobert exclaimed.
Meanwhile, “President” Nadine was not buying any of it as she calls him out on her Instagram stories and tells him how he was unaware and insensitive of his suicide remarks.
“You’re not seeing the bigger picture, Mr. Sucaldito. It’s messed up how you are completely unashamed of what you said. It’s never okay to push someone to commit suicide. I can’t believe you’re using this issue to fight our home network whose only objective is to protect us,” the kapamilya actress posted earlier today, July 1, 2020.
“Kahit pagbali-baliktarin mo, mali ‘yung sinabi mo. Inalis ka sa trabaho dahil MALI ‘YUNG SINABI MO and how is this even on Congress?! Someone enlighten me. PLEASE. Ikaw na nga ‘yung sinabihan na tumalon tapos parang kasalanan mo pa?? I’m sick and tired of these boomers treating mental issues like it’s a mf joke. Ayoko na. ‘Di ko na kaya mga ganap mumsh!” She also said.

The House committee on legislative franchises resumed the hearing of ABS-CBN's renewal franchise on June 29, almost two months after the TV network went off-air in compliance to shutdown order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) after their franchise expired on May 4.
