The Met Gala, often known as the First Monday in May, is returning in 2022! The glamorous event returned to its traditional time slot this year after being canceled in 2020 and held in September last year. 

A-list celebrities arrived upon the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate the museum's new exhibition, "In America: An Anthology of Fashion," which will serve as a study of American fashion. The exhibition will span 13 of the museum's American era rooms and will include works by Bill Blass, Brooks Brothers, Lloyd Kiva New, and others.

Meanwhile, the gala's co-hosts are celebrity couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Regina King.

The Gossip Girl actress dazzled on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a show-stopping custom Versace gown for the night's theme, 'In America: An Anthology of Fashion,' and the 'Gilded Glamour' dress code. She is a co-chair of this year's event with her husband Ryan.

“Blake changing outfits in a split second on the red carpet was a moment I’ll never forget. I recently changed my moisturizer and feel pretty confident it’s more of a slow burn that people will appreciate in time. Like freaks and Geeks.” Reynolds said in an Instagram post.

The classic color-changing garment astounded everyone, but her husband Ryan's reaction was simply too sweet for words. Ryan could be seen watching from afar as the glam squad raced in to remove the bow, and his jaw dropped as the fabric from the sash revealed the night's second look.
