Marvel’s ‘Spider-man 3’ reportedly bringing back past ‘Peter Parkers’ and more villains!
By Jhoemz Vercide 09 Dec 2020 639

Yes, it’s official, our spidey boy is going back on the screen with the gang next year!

Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) third installment of Spider-Man for Tom Holland is gonna be a blast as past original Spider-Man Tobey Maguire (2002-2007) & Andrew Garfield (2012) are reportedly returning to the film.

According to Collider in a report published by cbr.com, a deal has been struck with both Garfield and Dunst to join the MCU.

Also, Maguire’s on-screen love Kirsten Dunst is also confirmed to return as Mary Jane Watson, while Garfield’s screen romantic partner Emma Stone’s involvement is currently unknown.

From the massive success of Sony’s ‘SpiderVerse’, speculations about its adaptation on the third Spider-Man film continues to gain more fuel. On December 9, the news confirmed that Alfred Molina will play Doctor Octopus, one of the most popular villains in the film history, in Spider-Man 3; the villain will join Jamie Foxx's Electro, or a version of him, jumping over from Garfield's second film.

No word yet on whether Miles Morales could be joining the live-action universe as the Spider-Man trilogy will delve into the Spider-Verse, mirroring 2018's hit animated film (and the comics that inspired it).

Benedict Cumberbatch will star as Doctor Strange in Spider-Man 3, it was reported in October. The time-bending Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero will join as Peter Parker's new mentor, following the death of Tony Stark/Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame, according to The Hollywood Reporter in an article published by cnet.com

This is the end of Holland's trilogy and it should absolutely end on a major note. But there is no reason why they couldn't save this until a Spider-Man 4 to explore the Multiverse and the Spider-Verse.

Directed by Jon Watts, the currently untitled sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home will arrive in theaters on Dec. 17, 2021.

Yup, let’s all wait for our coolest superhero Spider-Man!
