Makulay ang Buhay sa Sinabawang Gulay Kids: Where are they now?
By AJ Virtuz 05 Jul 2020 3241

Makulay ang Buhay sa Sinabawang Gulay is a Filipino TV commercial which aired on 2007 during the Nutrition Month. With its catchy jingle—the commercial became a huge hit and caught the attention of the masses and still being recalled up until now.

The three Goin’ Bulilit (a popular comedy TV program featuring child actors) actors Sharlene San Pedro, Nash Aguas, and Aaron Junatas made the commercial even more viral and caught a wider audience’s attention as the three kids sang the song cheerfully and lively.

But the question is, where are they now?

Sharlene San Pedro

Sharlene San Pedro is now a singer, vlogger, VJ and a TV host. With her talents in acting, hosting, performing, etc, Sharlene has been proving how she can nail everything until now. She received her first acting award as the “Most Popular Child Actress” by Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation in 2009. In 2012 Sharlene was nominated in during the 17th Asian Television Awards as Best Actress in a lead-drama role for her portrayal as a teenage mother in the Maalaala Mo Kaya episode “T-shirt”. She is currently active on her youtube account with her life vlogs.

Nash Aguas

Nash Aguas starred in different TV shows like Luv U, Doble Kara, and Bagito. In 2006 and 2007, Nash was awarded as Best Child Performer by Metro Manila Film Festival, in 2010 and 2013, he was nominated as Best Child Actor by FAMAS Awards and also was nominated as Loveteam of the Year with Sharlene San Pedro in 2014 by Yahoo! Celebrity Awards and in 2019 by PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Aguas is currently in a relationship with his co-Goin’ Bulilit cast Mika Dela Cruz. In 2019, Aguas bought a luxurious house in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 20.

Aaron Junatas

Albeit Aaron Junatas did not further pursue his acting career, the once chubby little boy who starred in the comedy show “My Juan and Only” just graduated from college last year at the age of 20 at Bulacan State University. After appearing in his major projects like “Krystala,” “Mga Anghel na Walang Langit,” and “RPG: Metanoia,” Junatas stepped away from the lime light and focused on his studies.

Imagine how time flies? The kids we once saw on TV are now grown-ups and striving to become a better version of themselves. Their success and timeline remind us how we should not waste time and focus on our goals and make them happen. Also, eat some veggies, folks!
