The social media community is mourning after the passing of one of today’s YouTube sensations, Emman Nimedez, battling acute myeloid leukemia.

Peachy Santos, Nimedez’s girlfriend, shared the bad news on the social media star’s official Facebook page.

She wrote: “Our beloved Emman Nimedez joined our Creator at 1:00 am today, August 16, 2020, Sunday. He was with his family during the time of his passing at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City.  

“Our family is thankful to everyone who offered prayers and showed support,” she said. Funeral details will be announced in the next days. We hope everyone will respect the family’s privacy to mourn the passing of Emman. Thank you.”

A day after his passing, Peachy on Facebook shared that the thought of losing Emman is gradually sinking to her.

“Paunti-unti nagsisink-in na sakin, paunti-unti kinakain na ‘ko ng kalungkutan,” she wrote.

In her ‘goodbye’ post, she thanked Emman for everything they had together in the past four years, and for the happiness and endless support from her so-called ‘greatest love’ who has always been there for her all the time and vowed not to let go of each other.

“4 na taon na napakasaya ng buhay ko. 4 na taon na puro pagmamahal at walang kasawaang suporta galing sayo. sinanay mo ko na lagi kang nanjan. ‘di mo ko iniwan at alam ko pangako nating dalawa yun sa isa't isa na di natin iiwan ang bawat isa. ikaw ang greatest love ko.”

“Mamimiss ko lang yung mga "luto mo ko", "good morning baba vlog na tayo", "galing mo na mag edit ha", "ang taba ng pisngi mo pero love kita at maganda ka", "ano gusto mo food?", at "masaya ako dahil nandito ka sa tabi ko", the post reads.

Santos couldn’t express how devastating and painful the feeling of what she’s going through right now.

“…sobrang sakit mahal, sobra. nadudurog na ‘ko pero kakayanin ko at babangon ako sa tamang panahon, natatakot ako mag isa sa totoo lang, dahil lahat ng ginawa ko nanjan ka sa tabi ko para gabayan ako sa lahat ng bagay.”

In her post, she even begged Emman to visit him in her dreams for one last hug and kiss, and to tell her that everything will be fine.

She optimistically ended the post, “kakayanin ko at babangon ko sa tamang panahon. mahal na mahal kita baba... dito ka lang sa tabi ko ha. maraming salamat mahal ko.. magpakasal nalang tayo sa heaven para si Lord pa magkakasal satin.”

It looks like Peachy and Emman’s love story is just another version of what we called “the right love at the wrong time”, and no words can really describe this tragic story of these two hearts.

Love will always find its way…even in the afterlife.
