With all the calamities and natural disasters happened in the Philippines, it’s now a perfect time to focus more on studying climate, all the sciences involving space, as good news PH’s space agency is building a team!
The Philippine Space Agency posted job vacancies for legal assistants, administrative and human resource management officers, and information officers on Facebook.
It is also looking for a lawyer, accountant, budget officer, cashier, records officer, and senior science research specialist. Those interested may turn in their applications until November 29.
All applicants must send their letter of intent addressed to the agency’s director-general, an updated personal data sheet, diploma and transcript of records, certificate of eligibility, license or rating, training certificates, and employment certificate.
Also, applicants must submit a copy of their performance ratings from their previous work’s most recent rating period together with their application.
All requirements must be in PDF format and emailed to careers@philsa.gov.ph with “Job Application: Position(Department)_Surname” in the subject line.
The initiative to make the agency fully operational is truly an indication that our country is after the strengthening of this science-based agency which will help in the development of space technologies for use in national security, hazard management, climate studies, space research and development, space industry capacity building, space education, and awareness, and international cooperation as its core goals.
In August 2019, President Rodrigo Duterte signed the Philippine Space Act, creating the Philippine Space Agency, which is a government body dedicated to the improvement of space science and technology.
