King of Hallyu Wave Super Junior to hit Philippine stage for comeback concert

PULP Live World announced on Thursday, June 30 that the iconic and original King of Hallyu Wave, Super Junior is set to make a comeback in Manila, Philippines on August 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. On their twitter, the local concert producer unveiled the official poster for the SUPER SHOW: Road in Manila,

"It's been a long wait, PH ELFs - and you know we are more than thrilled to usher another unstoppable SUPER SHOW with @SJOfficial đź’™ We're on the road to #SS9inManila this coming August 6 at @MOAArena," they captioned. 

Tickets are ranging from P3,500 to P12,000 which is set to be on sale on July 17 at 12 p.m. via SM tickets website and outlets nationwide. 

Super Junior is recognized to be one of the first South Korean groups to hold a concert in the country. The last show they performed was in December of 2019 at the same venue for their Super Show 8 concert.

The group has been a veteran in the Kpop industry as part of the second generation. They are globally known for their hits "Sorry Sorry,” “Lo Siento,” “SUPERMAN,” “Mr. Simple,” and “Black Suit.” 

Super Junior debuted under SM entertainment in 2005 with 12 members. However, currently, there are only nine remaining active members: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Donghae, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. 

Prior to the comeback concert, the band will first treat their fans called ELF as they are set to release their comeback album “The Road: Keep on Going” on July 12.
