iKON is finally back with their emotional single “Why Why Why”!
K-pop boy band iKON is finally back to the music scene with their new single Why Why Why, few weeks ahead to the release of their upcoming new album that will be released in the same month.
Earlier today, March 3, iKON finally drops the music video of their new single, this is their latest comeback a year after the release of their album "I Decide" in February 2020, which topped iTunes in 24 countries and regions. The project also peaked at number three on the Gaon Albums Chart and has since sold over 55,000 copies. The release was also the first without original member B.I, who left the group in 2019.

According to YG Entertainment, after the release of their new album, iKON is expected to be seen on the boy band survival TV program “Kingdom,” which will start airing on April 1 on Mnet. This will be iKON’s first appearance on Mnet after five years.
Due to iKON’s comeback, member Bobby has cut short the promotion of his second solo album “Lucky Man,” which was released last Jan. 25. The promotion was originally set until the end of February.
Bobby also participated in the composition and lyrics for the song along with LP, CHOICE37, Sonny, and LIL G. The emotional lyrics unfold the regret and sadness felt after the end of a relationship.
“iKON’s comeback in March is imminent, and I thought I should focus on practicing and preparing for our performances on Mnet’s ‘Kingdom’, which premieres on April 1. I want to join the other members working hard every day and present an amazing performance which will surprise everyone,” said Bobby.
YG Entertainment said, “We decided to accept Bobby’s opinion and will wrap up the official promotional activities for Bobby’s second solo album ‘Lucky Man,’ originally scheduled until the end of February.” Bobby released a special video titled “U Mad” on Feb. 14.
The new album will be the second by the group as six members ― Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Bobby, Donghyuk, Ju-ne and Chanwoo ― since former leader Kim Hanbin left the group over drug allegations in 2019.
