Ansel Elgort, Justin Bieber, and Cole Sprouse were being called out on Twitter this past week by numerous accounts for allegedly committing sexual assault—a wide range of unwanted sexual behaviors that occur without the explicit consent of the victim—as victims fired shots and spoke up with their stories.
The three international stars deny the allegations and issued statements on their social media accounts to halt the online drama.

A woman named ‘Danielle’ claims he assaulted her on March 9, 2014, at the Four Seasons hotel in Austin, Texas.
The woman, who tweeted from an anonymous account was removed from Twitter shortly after Bieber publicly commented on the situation.
The Canadian singer defended himself and took to Twitter with a series of statements denying the allegation and posted evidence proving that he was not at the location that Danielle claimed he was at.
"I don’t normally address things as I have dealt with random accusations my entire career but after talking with my wife and team I have decided to speak up on an issue tonight," Bieber wrote on his own Twitter account on Sunday night.
He said that every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and that’s why his response was needed. He added that the whole story is factually impossible so he decided to work with Twitter and authorities to take legal action.

The “Riverdale” star Cole Sprouse is the latest name to be called out for sexual assault by a woman with a dummy account on Twitter.
The story of a woman named “Victoria” went viral on Sunday, June 21, 2020, after posting her story on Twitter of what Sprouse allegedly did to her.
“I want to tell [you] about my sexual abuse by Cole Sprouse. It was at a party in 2013 when Cole was at NYU. I was invited to one of his parties by a mutual friend, he came up during the party and started flirting with me and obviously I was flattered, we talked for quite a while,” Victoria wrote.
Sprouse has responded to Victoria’s story about the sexual abuse allegations on Twitter.
"Earlier today myself and three other castmates were falsely accused of sexual offense by anonymous accounts on Twitter, he wrote. “I take these accusations very seriously, and will be working with the right teams to get to the root of it."
Cole together with his brother were both accepted into New York University in 2010 and graduated with honors in May 2015.
There are different sexual assault sentencing and penalties in every state of the USA. In the Philippines, sexual assault can be slapped against an individual regardless of sex or gender. Unlike rape, sexual assault is bailable.
Former Sandiganbayan Justice and law professor Edilberto Sandoval noted that a person can be charged with sexual assault even without sexual intercourse or penetration, or even if the accused used his or her fingers, or another object.
