Metro Manila is now in Alert Level 2 allowing maximum of 50% indoor venue capacity for entertainment and recreational establishments as the Department of Trade and Industry issued minimum public health standards and protocols. This also means that movie houses are re-opened!
Here are the things that you should know before going to cinema:
- Cinemas are allowed to operate at 30% seat capacity (Alert level 3) and 50% seat capacity (Alert level 2)
- Socially distanced seating: 2 seats apart (1 meter)
- Mandatory mask-wearing all throughout the movie
- No eating allowed inside the auditorium
- Only COVID-19 vaccinated individuals are to be allowed in an enclosed cinema, provided that they do not have any symptoms and presentation of vaccination cards is required.
Note that mall’s health and standard protocols are based on the alert level of the city. They have the right to deploy their employees to check in each movie houses if the movie goers are obeying the cinema health protocols.
