The hype is real and It’s official! South Korean boy band GOT7 is coming back!

The world renowned South Korean group revealed an official teaser for its newest extended play (EP) scheduled for release on the 23rd of May, after much speculation and alleged reports from Aghases, also known as iGOT7, which is the official name of their fandom. The group’s last music release was in 2020 with their full studio album entitled “Breath of Love: Last Piece”

Seven member group GOT7 consists of Mark, Jayb, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom are coming back after the group’s departure from music label JYP Entertainment in January 2021. They have repeatedly stated that they have not disbanded and while on break, the members have gone on to sign with different agencies. The release of their self-titled EP will end the group’s absence for over a year. 

Their self-titled EP announcement is followed by GOT7’s total rebranding and launch of a new social media account of the group.

Moreover, their comeback will take on its usual path wherein the group will be releasing to their social media the EP’s tracklist, concept photos, music video posters, etc. on the daily until the actual launch of their EP.
