Our all-time favorite anime, ‘Ghost Fighter’ will be seen again on the screen according to the “Coming soon” section of Netflix on June 26.
The show’s name "Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files" was adapted from the manga written by Yoshihiro Togashi which first aired in 1992.
The well-loved show was aired on GMA Network in 1999 with the title “Ghost Fighter.”
The story follows the life of Yusuke Urameshi, better known as “Eugene” by Pinoy fans, who is struck and killed by a car while attempting to save a child's life. He was granted another chance at life by redeeming himself as a "Spirit Detective."
The rest of the characters' names also got localized: Kazuma Kuwabara is better known as Alfred, Hiei as Vincent, and Kurama as Dennis.
