With the sudden surge of zombies that occurred after a science experiment that went terribly wrong, a group of high school students were suddenly thrown into a life and death situation. This gory apocalyptic zombie horror series “All Of Us Are Dead” can now be streamed and currently ranks first on Netflix!

The series centers on the students from class 2-5 going through different phases and dilemmas in high school. In the midst of a zombie outbreak, how can this group of campus students band together in facing gruesome challenges? It takes a lot of strength, strategy and courage in order to survive. The highly gripping Korean drama consists of characters who will do whatever it takes to survive the epidemic. Let’s do some roll calls! 

The character: During the pre-apocalypse, Lee Cheong-san spent most of his time with his neighbor and childhood friend On-Jo—whom he’s secretly in love with, we all know that! He played a huge role in the group and is one of the most compelling aspects of the show. We all witnessed how his character judges the situation accordingly and is willing to put his friends before him. How soft and selfless he can be? 

The actor: Yoon Chan Young, a highly-respected child actor, won at least three drama awards in South Korea. His phenomenal acting skills were evident from the dramas Dr. Romantic, Do You Like Brahms?, The Bride of Habaek and more! 

The Character: Nam On-jo can be described as a well-known or popular girl in Hyosan High School. When the zombie outbreak started, she applied the necessary skills that her father taught her as a fireman. These strategies helped her and her companions survive every obstacle they encountered. So besides being the pretty girl in class, you must at least carry a couple of basic survival skills in your pocket at all times!

The Actor: The new South Korean acting sensation Park Ji Hoo, attained her career break in the 2018 indie film House of Hummingbird. Her charm and fresh acting skills were also seen in the dramas Beautiful World and Sweet Revenge 2. 

The Character: Talk about the mettle that keeps his classmates battling against the almost impregnable zombie odds! Lee Soo-hyeok, an athlete and the school heartthrob at the same time, took the role of being one of the bravest guys in the group. He doesn’t actually think twice on accepting dangerous tasks and fending off a bunch of zombies swarming in their school. Ugh, such a gentleman! 

The Actor: Breakout star Park Solomon starred in the romantic comedy series Sweet Revenge and also appeared in The Guardians and Lookism. 

The Character: Choi Nam-ra, the prime pupil and the class president, joins On-jo’s group when the disaster strikes their school. Being the top student and president of their class, Nam-ra took chances on standing up for the group despite avoiding interactions and being distant from her peers before the crisis began. Her wit and ideas contributed a lot to coming up with solutions to their problems. In times of trouble, let the quiet ones speak, for Pete’s sake! Rest assured that they have so much to tell.

The Actor: Cho Yi Hyun previously appeared in the hit series Hospital Playlist. She made her acting debut in 2017 with Sweet Revenge and Witch’s Court. Yi Hyun is also a part of the Korean psychological thriller film Metamorphosis as a member of the haunted Park family.

The Character: The privileged and high-hat student Lee Na Yeon, who takes pleasure in spreading false rumors and unsolicited judgements among her peers. The gal probably made your blood boil while watching, am I right? For those who haven’t watched this yet, I’m not gonna spoil you but her classicist and selfish approach during the attack definitely put her in trouble!

The Actor: Lee Yoo Mi’s character in All Of Us Are Dead might be exasperating, but Player 240 from the 2021 hit Korean series Squid Game, created a name for herself in one of the most heart-wrenching episodes from the series. The talented actress can definitely touch certain emotions regardless of the amount of screen time! You may have also seen her in Hostage: Missing Celebrity, The Yellow Sea, and Young Adult Matters.

The Character :And last but not the least, who would forget about Yoon Gwi-nam? He was the notorious bully in Hyosan High School. As the show’s primary antagonist (aside from the zombies, obviously), inflicting trouble is definitely his favorite game. Surviving the primary wave of zombies, he learnt something that made him more powerful among everyone else. Unleashing the depraved lengths he will go just to save his own skin? My last words for him: Give us a break, Gwi-nam.

The Actor: In 2017, young actor Yoo In Soo started his acting career and has taken part in five Korean dramas in his debut year alone. He recently appeared in Love Alarm in 2019 and can also be seen in dramas like Stranger 2, My ID is Gangnam Beauty, and Sweet Revenge.
