The much-awaited 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show finally happened on Monday, Feb. 14 (PH time), as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and surprise guests 50 Cent and Anderson. Paak enthralled the Super Bowl audience as they performed live from the new SoFi Stadium in California’s Inglewood.

Rap icons Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg opened the epic performance by performing “The Next Episode” while standing on top of a massive, white multi-house structure complete with a group of dancers and parked cars. Up next, the pair delivered “California Love.”

Next up was the only female in the lineup, Mary J. Blige hyped up the stage t with “Family Affair,” followed by “No More Drama.” Wearing a sparkly silver and white outfit and also joined by array of dancers, Blige finished up her performance with her signature faint.

“HUMBLE” rapper Kendrick Lamar next appeared to deliver “Alright.” Which was followed by a smooth musical transition — then Eminem appeared to perform “Lose Yourself” with Anderson. Paak on the drums. In the midst of Eminem’s performance, the camera cut to show Blige and 50, both sitting and nodding along to the beat.

Dr. Dre then made another epic transition, this time by playing the piano, as he reappeared with Snoop Dogg to perform the famous song “Still D.R.E.”

The iconic halftime show performance comes after L.A. native Jhené Aiko sang “America the Beautiful” alongside a harpist during the pregame show. Soon after that performance, country star Mickey Guyton gave a powerful rendition of the national anthem.
