After tying the knot last March 31, 2022 at Seoul's Grand Walkerhill, South Korea's power couple Son Hye-jin, 40 and Hyun Bin, 39 announced on June 27 that they are expecting their first child. On Hye-jin’s Instagram, she happily posted a photo with the caption,

"A new life has come to us," Ye-jin said. 

"I’m still a bit dazed, but I am feeling changes in my body every day with concern and excitement," she continued. 

"For fans who have been waiting for this news just as much as we are, I’m informing you all before it gets later. We will take good care of the precious life that has come to us. I hope you will also take care of the things that are precious ones in your life, and stay healthy. Let’s be happy,” she added. 

Last April, the couple flew to the United States for their honeymoon. They stayed in Los Angeles for 17 days before coming back to South Korea. A month later, rumors circulated online regarding Hye-jin's pregnancy. The speculation was prompted due to a photo posted by the actress. 

"How are you doing?! Have a delicious lunch and have a happy weekend," she captioned

In the said photo, Hye Jin is wearing a white loose dress. Netizens noticed a bump on her belly and congratulated her. However, MS Team Entertainment, the actresses agency immediately denied the issue, 

"The pregnancy rumors are absolutely not true. If there is good news, we will be the first to officially inform you," they firmly stated. 

Hye-Jin and Bin starred together in 2018 for the action thriller film 'The Negotiation'. In 2019, the two worked and reunited again for Netflix' ‘Crash Landing On You’' that became a massive hit internationally paving the way for the couple for global stardom. After a long exclusive dating, the pair confirmed their relationship in January of 2021. 

Fans rejoiced as they sent their wishes and congratulations to the well-loved couple on social media.
