The 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) has officially announced this year’s nominees! Check if your K-pop idols have made it on the list.

On November 3, the 2021 MAMA revealed its full set of nominees for the upcoming K-pop award ceremony, which is scheduled to happen on December 11 at 6 PM KST.

This year, plethora of changes have been decided to the criteria for determining the awards. Unlike in previous years, fan votes will not be the basis of the criteria for the Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year awards. However, the Worldwide Icon of the Year and Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10 awards will be based entirely through fan votes, with no other criteria.

The criteria for the final winners are as follows:

- Artist of the Year and Artist Category Awards– 40% judges’ evaluations, 20% digital performance, 20% physical album sales, 10% music video, 10% global music platform

- Song of the Year and Song Genre Category Awards– 40% judges’ evaluations, 30% digital performance, 10% physical album sales, 10% music video, 10% global music platform

- Album of the Year – 40% judges’ evaluations, 10% digital performance, 40% physical album sales, 10% global music platform

- Worldwide Icon of the Year, Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10 – 100% official votes.
