Bookworms, this is not a drill, Booksale is now available on Shopee!

One of the go-to-budget bookstores in the country is all set for opening its “virtual shelves” to all customers out there.

Shakira Sison, an award-winning essayist, and poet whose family owns Booksale, confirmed the good news in a tweet encouraging her followers to support the bookstore and their employees.

“Yes it’s true that BookSale is online,” Sison said. “And my dear father is asking for your support to help keep his employees afloat, most of whom have been with him for decades. They are struggling like everyone else.”

Booksale has recently started to engage online amid the quarantine period for customers who are not able to come and visit their stores so they posted available titles per branch before going fully operational online.

For 30 wonderful years, Booksale has been living up to its mission of providing affordable books to everybody.

Finally, now that books are on Shopee, bookworms can now haul titles in the comfort of their homes with a smooth delivery process.

As of writing, Booksale has over 18,000 followers in the shopping app and so far posted 134 products with the price ranging from P185 to P300 per book.

Customers could expect more books to be available online as the company continues to build its inventory.
