It is really good to see how local brands enter the City not just for their brand but also for the people to discover things without the need of going to provinces where such originated. It is also another way of introducing one province’s culture to another.

Last November 9, 2019, Bigg’s Diner, a local restaurant originated in Bicol, had its grand opening in SM City Fairview. This restaurant holds the title of being the “Biggest Food Chain” in the whole Region 5. It is famous for offering the best and tastiest chicken that will truly satisfy your cravings.

Bigg’s Diner has its name as Mang Donalds during its first years from 1983. It is also one reason why they keep their interior designs be as vintage as possible; If it’s not with vintage telephones and furniture, they put murals on their walls with 80s famous people like Marilyn Monroe and The Beatles. 

During the Grand opening, all best seller meals were served to the guests. Baby Back Ribs, Tower Burger, Bigg’s Big Deal Meal, Cajun Chicken, Carrot Cake, and their Original Chicken welcome all the bloggers, media, and Bigg’s executives. Before the food tasting, it began with a simple program and a simple introduction of how Bigg’s started. Mr. Emil Allan Capili, Chief Operating Officer of Bigg’s Diner shared some details about the journey of pushing this Metro Manila branch to be in reality. He also excites people with news of putting cloud kitchens in the next coming years.

“I gotta go to Bigg’s” as they have it on their song and you really have to! Go and try the taste you can’t resist in Bigg’s Diner, the place you can call your home, the taste of Bicol.
