2021 Grammys finally revealed its full set of nominees in different categories on Tuesday, November 24, at midnight, and Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa dominated the Grammy nominations.
Beyoncé’s leading with nine nods made her the second most nominated Grammy artist in history, with 79 nominations, next to her husband Jay-Z and Quincy Jones with 80.

British singer Dua Lipa, pop star Taylor Swift and rapper Roddy Ricch followed Beyoncé with six nominations individually.
Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa will compete for the top prize — Album Of The Year, along with R&B singer Post Malone, British band Coldplay, female band Haim, avant-garde Briton Jacob Collier, American soul band Black Pumas and American alternative R&B singer Jhene Aiko.
Dua Lipa bagged most of the major categories including: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for Don't Start Now, Album Of The Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album for Future Nostalgia, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for UN DIA (ONE DAY).
Taylor Swift also received six nods mostly for major categories including: Album Of The Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album for folklore, Song Of The Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for Cardigan, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Exile with Bon Iver, and Best Song Written For Visual Media for Beautiful Ghosts from movie Cats.
Taylor Swift also officially becomes the first and only artist to be nominated for Album Of the Year with 3 different genres of music in in Grammys History with Fearless (Country) in 2010, 1989 (Pop) in 2016, and folklore (Alternative) in 2021.
Artists including Harry Styles, K-pop boy band BTS, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion are nominated at the Grammys for the first time.
While it’s likely not the best year for The Weeknd after receiving zero nominations, who was widely expected to bag several nods for his critically acclaimed hit album After Hours, which has already won multiple awards this year, and his single Blinding Lights, which currently spends 40 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100 top 10, breaking the record for the longest running top 10 in the history. The Weeknd's zero nominations left him and fans disappointed.
