On midnight of February 28, one of the country’s most popular indie bands, Ben and Ben, has dropped their newest single entitled “Sa Susunod na Habangbuhay.”
Many of us thought that the song is about betrayal, pain, and longing to someone just like many the recent singles of the indie band but in fact, the song would give the sense of bravery when it comes to a love that is unconditional, it is all about loving someone over and over again.
A promise of one great love is evident in one of the lines of the song and it gave us all the feels, it says that "Ikaw pa rin ang pipiliin kong mahalin sa susunod na habang-buhay."
In a tweet posted by Miguel Benjamin, one of Ben & Ben’s lead vocalists, he said that he had ‘good break-down’
Benjamin wrote: "'Di ako masyadong nagb-breakdown, pero pagkasulat nito nangyari 'yon. And you know what? It felt good after! Oras na palang humilom ang sugat na 'di ko alam na nandoon pala this whole time. Nawa'y dumating rin sa'yo yung oras na 'yon. Labyu hanggang #SaSusunodNaHabangbuhay."
