Yes, Apple’s new software update is coming out today!
Apple announced at yesterday’s “Time Flies” event that the next major upgrades for iPhone and all of its products will be released today, September 16, 2020.
On the website of Apple, it explained that iOS 14 will bring a fresh look to the things users do most often—making them easier than ever. A set of new features will help users to get what they need in the moment. And for the apps, users should expect it to become even more intelligent, personal, and private.
All new features are explained in detail on the company’s website if you really want to know all about it. But, some of those new upgrades are the following:
- In iOS 14 you can bring widgets to the iPhone home screen for the first time.
- All of your apps will be gathered into a new App Library and adds picture-in-picture mode (which had already been available on iPads).
- A new design that doesn’t cover the whole screen was made for compact calls.
- While browsing on Safari, it will warn you if the password you are using is not secure, also you can now tap the Privacy Report button to better understand how websites treat your privacy.
Other updates included are improvements to Messages (like pinned conversations, mentions, and inline replies), cycling directions in Maps, privacy enhancements, a redesigned Music app, and much more.
The release of this year’s newest operating system of Apple comes earlier than usual, which is more than a week after unveiling its new products.
Early announcement of new software upgrades may have been made to ensure that users could get hold of iOS 14 before the new Apple watches arrive on September 18.
Peeps, ready your apple products, and be the first to enjoy the newest upgrade!
