After a unanimous decision from a Virginia jury ruling Amber Heard liable for defaming her ex-husband, $15 million in damages is set to be paid to Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp.
However, in an interview with Heard's legal attorney Elaine Charlson Bredhoft in the tv program called Today Show, she was asked if Heard will be able to pay, she revealed that her client is 'absolutely, not able' to pay millions of dollars she now owes to Depp.
In the said interview she also described the 'heartbreaking' suit loss against Depp, "It's a horrible message, this is a setback. Unless you pull out your phone and videotape your spouse beating you, you won't be believed."
Moreover, Bredhoft confirmed that Heard is planning to appeal the verdict made by the jury on June 1.
"She has some excellent grounds for it. We even tried to get the UK judgment to dismiss his case because he already had his shot, and that's one of the issues, but also a number of evidentiary issues. There was so much evidence that did not come in." she explained.
