Manila Mayor Isko Moreno announces cancellation of ‘Traslacion’ 2022
The ‘Traslacion’ or the annual procession of the Black Nazarence will be suspended for the second time this year after Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso announced its cancellation on Wednesday, January 5. Isko instead urged millions of Black Nazarane devotees to attend online masses for everyone’s safety amidst an increase in the number of new COVID-19 cases.
